Hello Friends!!!!

 Hello Again!

Today for you I have done a simple card using the beautiful papers from Little Birdie Crafts.  I knew I wanted to have a play with these watercolor type images from this paper pack from the day I got it!  Take a look at what I've created and I'll tell you more about how to do it :)

To start, I chose three of the designs that sort of coordinated together.  The pack is called Floral Ballet and it has a great selection of small florals, large florals and different combinations of each.  It also has a few pages of large floral watercolor images & some sentiments and greetings in coordinating colors.

Once I selected my paper patterns, I grabbed a stitched rectangle die from my stash.  I decided to highlight the colors in the papers towards the center and the greenery towards the outside but really so many possibilities with this idea!  I used tape on the backside of the strips of paper so that when I ran everything through my die cut machine so my end result would be a stitched single piece in the end.

I played a little to figure out the best background mat color to use with this stitched paper rectangle by trying out different colors from the Chevron Aquarelle paper pack.  So many gorgeous colors in this pack and I have nearly used it all in my projects this past year!  I chose the lovely purple color because the center panel on my card has just a hint of that color.

Then I went to work die cutting my greeting.  I chose to use the lovely Alphabet Fun thin cut dies from LBC.  I did not want to keep them plain white so I opted to paint them after I diecut two sets of letters.  I did two because I wanted to be sure they held up to the paint.  I adhered them to each other with liquid glue and then popped them up on dimensional tape to the front of my card.

Then finally, I added some of those 3D Pearl Drops in Candy Glaze to add a little something to finish off my card.  I hope you enjoyed my project today and I hope you're inspired to look at your paper collection in a different way :)

**Please note, the Shimmer Paint was a discontinued product by LBC so I can't share the link to purchase but it went so well with my project, I decided to use it anyway**
