More "No Line Watercoloring" Fun

Hello There!

Hope you are having a fabulous Monday morning!  I wanted to share this pretty
watercolor card with you all today.  Interestingly enough, I find that I have an abundance
of pink flowers in my own garden so naturally I gravitate towards painting them pink as well :)

One of my favorite things about watercolor is just watching the colors flow and dance
across my project.  There is something super fun for me in watching this happen.

For this card, I chose to use my new stamp set from the October Simon Says Stamp Card Kit
I really enjoyed this set with its mixed font greetings and gorgeous line art flower images.

I did a soft background using my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes
and a Hero Arts Stencil called Waves.  By using a combo of soft and neutral
Distress Inks as a base and then layering the stencil over top, you get this
neat "hint" of shapes in the background.

I used Distress Ink to stamp my images of the flower and leaves in lighter colored inks
so that it would mostly disappear underneath my watercolors.  Using the
Ecoline Liquid Watercolors, I mixed and added to make different shades of color on
my palette tray.  These paints are really fun and very vibrant but can also be toned
down by adding water.

A few splatters of the pink watercolor and some liquid pearls finished off my design.

Here is the gorgeous stamp set called Thankful Flowers that
I used from Simon Says Stamp!

My finished card - a sweet greeting of congratulations that would
surely brighten anyone's day!
