A bit of spooky fun just in time for Halloween! I have this old Close to My Heart stamp set called Moonlight Scrapbooking Workshop Holidays. It worked great for this nighttime scene card.
I blended my distress inks in Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron and Chipped Sapphire using my super awesome Picket Fence Studios Blending Brushes on white cardstock. For a little more distressed look, I also added some stamping using my Timeless Texture stamp set from Stampin' Up! and also some Dr. Ph Martins Bleed Proof White paint spatters.
This sweet mummy was colored using a variety of copic sketch markers. I popped him up on some dimensionals. I also heat embossed the lamp post using WOW! Embossing Powder in Ebony. I paper pieced the lamp on top for some more dimension and colored using the copic markers again.
Here is my finished card, ready to give someone a spooky surprise! Hope you enjoy watching all the kiddos in their costumes on this fun day :)
