Hello!
Hope you're having a wonderful day! I wanted take part in
the Freshly Made Sketches 400th Sketch Celebration by sharing my card
from the inspiration sketch they had up last week. I was a bit behind in getting it
completed in time to add it to their Blog Contest but better late than never and I
just adore that they keep me inspired to create!
Here is the sketch
My card using the Hero Arts Layering Seahorse stamp set
I used the Dylusions stencil "fishtails" by Ranger Ink and used my glue pad to
add the blue glitter background.
A few papers from the Carta Bella Beach Boardwalk DSP pack and then I stamped the seahorse
in Mango Melody, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy inks by Stampin' Up!
The gold heat embossed shell is a double stamp from the set that I layed down 3 layers
of powder and then used the detail stamp to impress the lines into the
melted gold glimmer embossing powder. It gives the shell a super realistic look!
Can you see the cool texture on that shell? I love how it turned out!
Thanks for reading and I hope you too get inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
It's such a great resource to use, especially when you need a little nudge to get creating!
Happy Crafting!
