Here is the finished card:
Now I'd like to show you start to finish so you can see exactly how we created this delicate background using one of the sunflower stamps.
We stamped the more solid sunflower image using Sahara Sand ink stamped off 1x and just proceeded to layer the images one next to the other until the card front was full. This really does give a neat pattern without it looking like the actual flower once you add the layers on top.
Next comes the super cool new washi tape called Year Of Cheer in these luscious Gold, Silver, Copper and Champagne colors. I really like this stuff because a little bit just makes your project shine!
So we've got our layers, our washi, our Gold Natural Trim and we've added the sunflower using the new Starburst Punch. The sunflowers are made using 2 step stamping and adding either the same color both times or 2 complimentary colors - the possibilities are endless!
Now to punch a few leaves using the coordinating leaf punch and some Lemon Lime Twist & Wild Wasabi ink. Add those in using a little fine tipped glue and you're all set.
